We are not responsible for orders that can not be delivered or that have not been received due to a recipient address error. Please ensure that the recipient’s address is correct and contact our customer service if your recipient has not received the order.
How to send an order to a different shipping address?
You can order a product and have it shipped to another address. You simply have to write down the address where you want the product to be delivered in shipping address. As a safety precaution, orders paid by credit card that must be shipped to an address other than that of the credit card owner may subject to verification. We reserve the right to cancel dubious orders.
What are the shipping fees?
Limited time Flat Rate: The shipping fees will be a flat rate calculated as more or less 10% on the total order amount before taxes for a limited time while our new online store will be in Beta version. Each package includes a $100 insurance. This amount of insurance can be increased by contacting us and additional fees could apply. Otherwise we can not be held responsible. The flat rate shipping applies for standard package that are not overweight or oversized (less than 5 kg and less than 1 sq.ft. box delivered by standard ground carrier).
The Indian Craftsmen of Quebec reserves the right to change de flat shipping rate under any circumstances and without notice.
The flat shipping rate can vary under infrequent occurrence and applies to shipments of excessive weight or size or those arriving to Specific Postal Codes , especially remote areas for example region of central Quebec or difficult to access by carriers (example: Magdalen Islands, Kuujjuaq) .
Orders requiring multiple boxes may require additional charges.
In some cases, the shipping charge supplied to us at the time of checkout (and consequently, our reduced charge applied to you) changes. These changes are at the sole discretion of the shipper (Canada Post or Other). When there is a change of this kind we will contact you by email or phone (you may have to pay more if the charge was increased, or receive a refund because the shipping charge was reduced).
COD (Cash On Delivery)
On demand, we offer COD (Collect on Delivery) orders to our customers that previously filled our COD AGREEMENT FORM.
All COD orders are have an additional fee per box of 7.25$ plus insurance fees of a maximum value of 1000$ and a weight limit of 30kg per box imposed by Post Canada.
Any unclaimed COD shipments fees ( sending and returning) will be charge to the customers account. Exception: for parcels sent on order against Reimbursement CR / (COD), the insurance is obligatory at the customer’s expense.
US and International orders:
At this time we only ship within Canada.

To ensure customers are charged for their purchase only when items are shipped, a preauthorization equal to the amount of the order will be applied to the credit/debit card used for the transaction at the time of order. Preauthorization is the common practice within the banking industry of authorizing electronic transactions done with credit/debit card and holding the balance as unavailable either until the merchant settles the transaction or the hold is removed. Depending on the cardholder’s banking institution, a preauthorized hold may initially appear as a charge.
This bank hold is temporary, and only the actual charge will be applied to the card when the order is shipped.
Orders including multiple items may be shipped separately. Each individual shipment may have an additional preauthorization equal to the individual shipment value. Again, these holds are temporary and only the actual charge will be applied to the card when the order is shipped.
Please note, The Native Craftsmen of Quebec is not able to release the bank’s temporary hold on authorized funds and cannot be held responsible for the policies of the customer’s banking institution regarding the holding of preauthorized funds. Preauthorization fund holds last for varying periods, depending on the issuing card company’s policy. Should a concern arise regarding preauthorization, we strongly suggest contacting the issuing credit card company or bank directly.
All online orders are sent expedited through Canada Post or other carrier from Wendake, Quebec. During high season, orders can take upto 72 hours to be shipped. Depending on the destination, delivery delay can vary between 3-15 business days. Orders placed after 2:00pm EST is generally processed the following day.
If the delivery fees or the shipping deadlines doesn’t satisfy you, it is possible to cancel order unless the parcel has left our facility.To cancel, please email us to email@example.com or call us.
We may be able to coordinate quicker delivery with advance notice, though we cannot guarantee any specific timeline. We, like everyone else, are at the terms of the carrier, inclement weather, delays, etc. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to see if this is possible.
Problems with your package received:
If you have any problems with your package please NOT discard it. We need clear photos showing all problems so that we can file a claim with the shipping company. Out of Stock Items / Backorders
If you place an order for multiple items and one or more of those items is out of stock, well will ship what we can and the backordered items will follow as soon as possible. Your payment method is processed at the time of shipping. You will not be billed for items that do not ship.
All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include taxes. No duties are applicable as all products ship within Canada.
We’re based in Quebec. As such, your order (items and shipping) is subject to applicable GST/PST or HST based on the delivery address as follows:
- 5% GST only for Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories
- 13% HST for Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland & Labrador
- 14% HST for Prince Edward Island
- 15% HST for Nova Scotia
Cancellations & order modifications
If for any reason your item is unavailable, we will notify you by email and your credit card will be refunded.
When you place an order and choose the in-store pickup option, you will receive two automated emails. The first email will inform you that your order has been received. The second email will inform you that your order has been prepared and it is ready to be picked up at the store.
It is important to wait for this second email before going to the store. Allow two business days for the preparation of your order and receipt of this email.
An ID will be requested when you pick your order in the store.
We guarantee the satisfaction of our consumers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, an exchange for an item of the same value or a refund is allowed. The delivery fees of returned items is the responsibility of the customer. We accept exchanges or refund for a period of 30 days following the delivery. The item must be returned to its original condition. We maintain the right not to refund or exchange the product if otherwise. You most contact our services department to authorized before returning any items from your order for refunds.
In store purchases may be returned within 30 days of purchase with receipt for exchange or refunds. The item must be in its original condition. We maintain the right not to refund or exchange the product if otherwise.
Returns may take one to two weeks to process. Once processed, a credit is issued to the original payment method or a store credit will be issued.
